Three things to read on the listing, and one to ignore
Read the nail count and the size count. They are usually in the title, and they are the only specifications that reliably predict whether the set will fit. "32 Pcs 16 Sizes" tells you more than any amount of marketing copy.
Read what is in the box. Glue, adhesive tabs, prep pad, file, cuticle stick. A set that lists all five is a set you can use the day it arrives. A set that lists none needs a second purchase.
Read the shape and length. Short oval and short square are the everyday workhorses. Long coffin is a commitment.
Ignore the star rating in isolation. Ratings in this category are heavily influenced by shade accuracy and delivery, which tell you nothing about fit or wear. The specification tells you more than the score does.

The lookalike problem
Press-ons are cheap to manufacture and the same molded tips appear under many names.
