Can you use both?
Yes, and it is a genuinely useful trick that nobody markets. Tabs on the eight fingers that take less punishment, glue on the two thumbs that take all of it. You get near-glue durability where it matters and easy removal everywhere else.

Are sticky tabs bad for your nails?
